DRAFT — not yet in effect. This wording is pending final approval by Trevor Vice Books before the app launches. Do not rely on it as the live policy.
SimplyStated is published by Trevor Vice Books. Questions about this policy: simplystated@trevorvicebooks.com.
What you add — letter and drawing photos, screenshots, and pasted text — is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to a server operated by Trevor Vice Books, and is stored there so you can come back to it. It is used only to read, explain, translate, check for scam signs, and draft replies for you. We do not sell your content, we do not run ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Reading a photo or translating text is done by an artificial-intelligence service that the server sends the content to for processing. That is how the reading works, and it is the only outside service your content is shared with; it is shared only so the feature you tapped can run. The AI provider's paid API terms apply to that processing.
We do not ask for an account or a payment card to use the free features. If paid plans are offered later, they are handled by Google Play, and this policy will be updated before they start.
You can delete any saved item at any time inside the app; deleting removes the item and its photos from the server. To remove everything we hold for you, contact simplystated@trevorvicebooks.com.
SimplyStated provides plain-English information about documents; it is not legal, financial, or professional advice.
This app collects Photos and Other user content (the text of letters and drawings you add), for App functionality. That content is shared with the AI processor named above, for that purpose only. It is not sold, and it is not shared for advertising or tracking. Deletion is available in the app and by email.
Policy changes will be posted at this address with a new date.
